This is the first class in the Ashtanga Beginners series, which will provide you with an introduction to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. The Beginner series follows a “step-by-step” approach, starting with the basics and introducing new postures in each class. We recommend you watch the classes in numerical order, memorising and becoming proficient in the postures in each class before moving onto the next. In this class we will explore: Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga, Correct Breathing, Samasthiti,Surya Namaskar A & B and Finishing Sequence.
