Mat Pilates originally developed at the turn of the 20th Century by Joseph Pilates, who aimed to develop a perfect balance of the body and mind through the integration of body mechanics. This class consist of exercises performed on the floor which were designed to target and isolate muscles using the gravity of your own body.  These exercises fluidly move your body ultimately building core strength, flexibility, awareness and control.
