Rana Khoury

Rana’s passion and love of fitness, sports and wellbeing began in university when she got her degree in Sports Medicine, US. She found yoga 12 years ago, and the effect that the practice had on her both physically and mentally was unparalleled and incomparable to anything else she had tried before. She practiced various forms of yoga over the years, including general Hatha, Sivananda, Iyengar, Bikram, and Ashtanga, Kundalini, Vinyasa, and Yin, as well as attending various workshops and Vipassana (silent) Meditation retreats. She did her formal training in India in 2006 and has been teaching ever since. Her personal practice has evolved tremendously since she began practicing and teaching, and is now focused on the holistic effects of practice on the mind, body, and spirit. Her classes are a blend of Vinyasa style yoga with a strong concentration on the breath and the connection with the mind. Her approach is very gentle and accepting, yet challenging, and she brings a lot of fun and enthusiasm, as well as a very personal touch to her classes. Yoga, to Rana, is a never ending path of learning, self-discovery, and self-improvement, and most importantly, self-acceptance and love.
