Camilla Way

Camilla Way has been practicing yoga for over ten years. Camilla is 200hrs Yoga Alliance qualified in Vinyasa Flow (trained by Erica Blitz) and is also Mat 1 Pilates, qualified. She likes to incorporate core strengthening and stability into her yoga teaching and is passionate about sharing the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga, to complete beginners and intermediate practitioners.

Having lived in London for fourteen years, Yoga gave her the balance she needed to survive city and corporate life. As a result of a hectic and stressful schedule, and although she exercised regularly to help her relax, Camilla began to experience panic attacks and increased anxiety. After her Doctor recommended she try yoga, Camilla was surprised to find the practice gave her something more than other forms of exercise. She began to experience additional benefits from this ancient tradition, including a calmer mind and more positive outlook.

She started practicing Hatha style yoga at the Sivanada Centre and Triyoga studios in London. Following a trip to Sri Lanka, she fell in love with the island and took the opportunity to live there for 7 months, teaching English and yoga. Here, she was introduced to Ashtanga yoga, which inspired her to visit Mysore in India for a month of disciplined, daily ‘Mysore style’ practice, under Ajay Kumar.

Camilla moved to Dubai in 2010 and has since perfected a blended style of yoga teaching, incorporating Hatha and Vinyasa Flow with core strengthening and pilates techniques., ideal for beginners to intermediate level students.
